The Company´s board of directors is pleased to announce that Buildmax, through its subsidiary, Diesel Power Opencast Mining Proprietary Limited (“Diesel Power”) has been awarded a contract to provide open cast mining services to Mzimkhulu Mining Proprietary Limited at the Mzimkhulu Colliery near Ogies in Mpumalanga (the “Contract”).
The Contract commences 14 September 2017 and is for a duration of 48 months. The Contract has a value in excess of R800 million and includes plant and funding costs. We are delighted with this Contract in that it aligns to the Company´s growth strategy whilst ensuring employment for the local community.
